Week 15 picks
Last week: 8-6
Season record: 118-90-1
Season record: 118-90-1
So the big news this week is that COVID is running rampant throughout the NFL. This does not bode well for predictions, or for the fantasy playoffs, not to mention the actual games themselves! So consider these picks with a giant asterisk.
Kansas City at LA Chargers--The two QBs in the league that are right now the most fun to watch will be on the same field. Giddy up. Chiefs 34, Chargers 31
Las Vegas at Cleveland--No truth to the rumor that the Browns will let anyone off the street with a vaccine card play QB for them on Saturday. Raiders 22, Browns 19
New England at Indianapolis--The second of two Saturday games on the NFL Network, and a really good game, assuming the Covid hasn't messed with these rosters too much. Patriots 30, Colts 24
Carolina at Buffalo--The Bills need this win like I need football on Sundays. Bills 27, Panthers 13
Arizona at Detroit--The Cards need to rebound from a tough division loss Monday night. And right on cue, here comes a trip to Detroit! Cards 28, Lions 16
NY Jets at Miami--Miami is looking for their sixth win in a row and a spot on the playoff bubble, after starting 1-7. They just have to beat the Jets, but who knows what the football gods have in mind. Dolphins 21, Jets 17
Dallas at NY Giants--It doesn't matter who the Giants put on the field, except that if Mike Glennon is once again the QB for Big Blue it's gonna be ugly. Cowboys 38, Giants 10
Washington at Philadelphia--The WFT apparently has a load of Covid cases. And I was gonna pick the upset and now I can't. Eagles 23, WFT 10
Tennessee at Pittsburgh--You get the feeling Big Ben is like a 25 year old used car that still runs but is rusty and has all kinds of mechanical problems. It's like watching a bunch of tin cans held together by string playing QB. Titans 24, Steelers 22
Houston at Jacksonville--Score this under the team who fires a coach always wins the next game without said coach. Jags 20, Texans 17
Cincinnati at Denver--Two teams who have looked excellent and terrible at different points of the season. Broncos 16, Bengals 13
Atlanta at San Francisco--The Niners are starting to look like a team that could wreck another team's playoff aspirations. Niners 27, Falcons 20
Seattle at LA Rams--The Rams are rounding into playoff form at the right time, proving they can beat the conference leading Cards on the road. Can they continue the good vibes? Rams 31, Seahawks 20
Green Bay at Baltimore--Without Lamar, you have to hope your defense can keep Aaron Rodgers and that stud offense in check. Good luck with that. Packers 35, Ravens 24
New Orleans at Tampa Bay--The Bucs are once again looking like the team to beat. Bucs 34, Saints 17
Minnesota at Chicago--This one has that Vikings kicker misses the potential game winner as time expires feel to it. Bears 22, Vikings 20
