Mikey's NFL picks

Last week: 10-4 Season record: 17-11 Hey, that wasn't too shabby last week.  Of course, I've had the benefit of 9 weeks of not picking games while watching to see who is actually good and who is not.  But whatever, as Bill Parcells said once, my record is what it is.  So happy Thanksgiving to you all and let's pick some games! Buffalo at Detroit --This is not the slam dunk it may have been if these teams met five or six weeks ago.  The Lions have won three straight and unfortunately for me looked really good against my Giants this past Sunday.  And Josh Allen is still playing and apparently still hurting.  I can't bring myself to pick this upset though.  Bills 24, Lions 23 NY Giants at Dallas --These two teams are both 7-3 and going in different directions, and the Giants have so many injuries at key positions that it's just such a huge mismatch right now.  And nothing is worse than obnoxious Cowboys fans.  Oh wait, I forgot about Eagles fans...

Last week: 7-7 Season record: 7-7 Okay so this was my first attempt at picking games this season, and it went about as I expected--mediocre.  In my defense, it's been a weird season so far--I'm sure that exactly zero pundits picked the Commanders over the Eagles.  Or the Jets over the Bills the week prior.  But hey, let's get to it for Week 11!   Tennessee at Green Bay --I live two hours and change south of Green Bay, and it's been snowing here a good part of the day.....so as I usually do, regardless of any other factor, I am picking the team from the south to lose.  Packers 26, Titans 23 Chicago at Atlanta --So much mediocrity, so little time.  Falcons 22, Bears 21 Carolina at Baltimore --I don't know who the starting QB is for Carolina week to week, and I don't think they know either.  Ravens 30, Panthers 13 Cleveland at Buffalo --There are now BLIZZARD warnings for Sunday in Buffalo, so the NFL is looking for an alternate venue for this game....

hey all.....yeah, I know, there are nine weeks in the books and I haven't picked a single game.  There isn't a good reason for that, but for some reason I've been itching to get back to it, so who cares if I start my picks Week 10, right?  it's just a fun outlet anyway, and by no means should you use this information as the basis for, you know, actual bets.  so let's give this a go, shall we? Atlanta at Carolina --what a beauty for a Thursday night game, eh?  I love football but this is about as boring a matchup as the NFL can offer.  And it's on Amazon Prime.  Yawn.  Panthers 21, Falcons 17 Seahawks vs. Bucs at Munich, Germany --I'm all in favor of having Sunday morning football.  But Germany?  At least this one is a compelling matchup to watch--surging Geno vs. the grumpy old divorcee.  Seahawks 23, Bucs 19 Minnesota at Buffalo --Is Josh Allen playing?  Will he be effective in any way or hampered by his injury, which I think is th...
