Week 13 picks
Last week: 9-6
Season record: 102-78-1
It's still weird to think there will be 18 weeks of regular season games. That's all. Now on to the picks....
Tampa Bay at Atlanta--The Bucs are already rounding into playoff form, and if they can run the ball with Leonard Fournette like they did last week, it's hard not to like them to repeat as champs. Bucs 33, Falcons 20
Arizona at Chicago--This is the "they are who we thought they were" Dennis Green memorial bowl. Cards 28, Bears 17
LA Chargers at Cincinnati--I think Justin Herbert is finding out you can't necessarily turn the spigot on whenever you want. Bengals 26, Chargers 23
Minnesota at Detroit--Well, at least the Lions won't be 0-17 this year. Vikings 27, Lions 13
NY Giants at Miami--The Dolphins have quietly climbed back to relevance while no one noticed. The Giants' offense has continued to shit the bed while everyone noticed. Dolphins 16, Giants 6
Philadelphia at NY Jets--I wonder if the Eagles got to just leave their gear in the visitors locker room after playing the Giants here last week. Eagles 24, Jets 16
Indianapolis at Houston--If Houston can't beat the Jets at home......then I would rather not waste any energy on writing something witty about them. Colts 31, Texans 10
Washington at Las Vegas--Taylor Heinecke is one of the most exciting players to watch in 2021. He's not the most talented, but he always looks like he's giving it his all and having fun while doing it. Raiders 27, WFT 26
Jacksonville at LA Rams--The Rams are only gonna be as dominant as Matthew Stafford allows them to be. Rams 31, Jags 7
Baltimore at Pittsburgh--I just saw some highlights of Pittsburgh's game against the Bengals. Big Ben is as nimble in the pocket as Fred Flintstone. Ravens 27, Steelers 20
San Francisco at Seattle--Do you get the feeling the Niners have re-discovered some of the 2019 magic that helped them reach the Super Bowl? Niners 23, Seahawks 20
Denver at Kansas City--Speaking of the Niners and the Super Bowl, the team that beat them is also rounding back into form as we speak. Chiefs 27, Broncos 17
New England at Buffalo--A few weeks ago, this would have been seen as another Monday night mismatch. Now, it's a potential AFC Championship preview. Bills 28, Patriots 27
