Week 14 2020 picks
Last week: 7-8
Season record: 117-75
I think we have 16 games on the schedule in Week 14 for the first time since like Week 3. And so far nothing has been postponed to a Wednesday to be named later due to Covid. So let's get to it.....
New England at LA Rams--I am guessing the Patriots stayed in LA after walloping the Chargers on Sunday. They get to play in the same building four days later but this opponent will be a bit more of a challenge. Rams 21, Patriots 18
Minnesota at Tampa Bay--I keep seeing the Vikings being ranked way higher on the power rankings than the eye test might believe. My eyes see supreme mediocrity. Bucs 27, Vikings 23
Arizona at NY Giants--Damn, how the tables have turned. I have been afraid to pick the Giants but after they manhandled Seattle in a building Seattle almost never loses in, I'm not going to be afraid any more. Giants 20, Cards 17
Kansas City at Miami--I've got a weird feeling about this one, but Patrick Mahomes is a baaaad man. Chiefs 23, Dolphins 19
Tennessee at Jacksonville--The Titans are going to be angry and the Jags at this point have to be thinking about losing out in case the Jets win one or two by accident (hahaha). Titans 27, Jags 10
Dallas at Cincinnati--So here is a winnable game for Dallas. The problem is it's also a winnable game for the home team. Bengals 22, Cowboys 21
Houston at Chicago--The Texans under Romeo Crennell have looked decent, going 4-4 after starting 0-4 with Bill O'Brien at the helm. The Bears have been a fucking mess since like week 5. Texans 17, Bears 12
Denver at Carolina--Just another riveting matchup between 4-8 teams. Panthers 23, Broncos 17
NY Jets at Seattle--I really wonder if the Jets will score any points in this one. Seahawks 27, Jets 6
Indianapolis at Las Vegas--The Raiders don't look like the team that upset the Chiefs in KC earlier in the season. Colts 35, Raiders 30
Washington at San Francisco--Just like the Giants, the WFC has looked more like a division winner than a best of the worst type team lately. WFC 23, Niners 20
New Orleans at Philadelphia--I have a feeling Jalen Hurts will make a difference in how the Eagles play going forward, but not in this game. Saints 27, Eagles 21
Atlanta at LA Chargers--Picking games like this gives me a feeling of "whatever". Chargers 26, Falcons 24
Green Bay at Detroit--Aaron Rodgers puts his foot on the accelerator to try and wrestle the 1-seed from the Saints. Packers 38, Lions 20
Pittsburgh at Buffalo--Whoa, a really compelling SNF game. Bills 26, Steelers 24
Baltimore at Cleveland--The Browns have a 2 game edge over their division rivals, and you can bet making it 3 against this particular opponent would mean everything to the city of Cleveland. Browns 28, Ravens 25
