Week 4 2020 picks

Last night: 1-0
Season record: 32-17

Okay, here we go....minus two games due to Titans players and staff testing positive for COVID, and now Cam Newton of the Patriots on the COVID list.  Let's hope it isn't too widespread, but of course we have to always remember that life is bigger than sports.  Titans/Steelers is being moved to Week 7, and Patriots/Chiefs will also be moved to either Monday, Tuesday, or later in the season.

And now to the picks....

Arizona at Carolina--I realize the Panthers won last week without Christian McCaffrey, but it's hard to see that being sustainable.  Kyler Murray comes to town Sunday and this might be a very lopsided game.  Cardinals 34, Panthers 17

Baltimore at Washington--The battle of BWI, or something.  Lamar is going to bounce back from a disappointing Monday night against KC.  Ravens 31, Football Team 14

LA Chargers @ Tampa Bay--On paper these two teams have solid defenses.  They also have a future Hall of Famer in Tom Brady and a rookie in Justin Herbert.  This should be relatively easy for the Bucs.  Bucs 27, Chargers 17

Seattle at Miami--Ummmmmm, Miami fans might wanna cover their eyes.  Seahawks 30, Dolphins 16

Minnesota at Houston--Just like with Broncos/Jets, we have two 0-3 teams going at it.  I'm not quite sure what's up with the Vikings, but the Texans had to open against KC, Baltimore and Pittsburgh--teams that are a combined 8-1 right now.  Texans 23, Vikings 20

New Orleans at Detroit--The Saints have also had a tough schedule so far, but they get to .500 after a trip to Motown.  Saints 28, Lions 25

Cleveland at Dallas--Odell Beckham Jr. knows a little about Dallas.  This one may be closer than anticipated, but the Cowboys are too good to be 1-3.  Cowboys 31, Browns 27

Jacksonville at Cincinnati--I think Joe Burrow gets his first win here.  Bengals 27, Jags 19

NY Giants at LA Rams--Oh lord.  When I looked at my Giants' schedule, I literally said they might go 0-16.  Now, as they regress with each game, they might think about forfeiting this one.  Rams 38, Giants 9

Buffalo at Las Vegas--With Tom Brady out of the division, the Jets sucking wind, and the Dolphins sucking a little less wind, the 3-0 Bills have a path to a first round bye.  Let that sink in.  Bills 26, Raiders 24

Indianapolis at Chicago--Ladies and gentleman, Nick Foles has returned to work his magic.  He is fast approaching cult status.  Bears 24, Colts 20

Philadelphia at San Francisco--Ladies and gentleman, Nick Foles is working his magic for the Bears while Carson Wentz continues to regress.  Niners 27, Eagles 24

Atlanta at Green Bay--We are getting close to Dan Quinn's seat burning a hole through his pants.  Packers 35, Falcons 17

New England at Kansas City--I'm not sure if this one happens this week, but we may as well pick it.  Cam Newton will not play, and the Chiefs are really fucking good.  Again.  Chiefs 27, Patriots 17
