Week 13 picks
Last week: 11-3
Season record: 110-66-1
It's Thanksgiving week! And that means we have three games tomorrow, and that we can also look forward to the weekend and the fact that there are no byes the rest of the season. So let's get the party started......
Chicago at Detroit--I remember my dad always saying the Lions play well on Thanksgiving day, even when they sucked, which was most of the time. So despite the Lions likely going to their third string QB, I'm going to honor my dad here (probably not a stretch considering how bad the Bears have looked this season). Lions 23, Bears 20
Buffalo at Dallas--I just had to do a double take--the Bills are 8-3 and Cowboys 6-5? Also where are Jim Kelly and Emmitt Smith when you need them? Cowboys 28, Bills 17
New Orleans at Atlanta--There will not be another embarrassing loss like a few weeks ago in New Orleans, right? Saints 35, Falcons 20
Cleveland at Pittsburgh--This game will likely determine who the #6-seed will be in the AFC, and also I can't believe after that brawl that these two teams are meeting again so soon. Uh-oh. Browns 26, Steelers 24
Green Bay at NY Giants--UGGGGGGGG. Packers 38, Giants 16
Philadelphia at Miami--What in the world has happened to Carson Wentz? I was so sure he'd torment my Giants for 15 years. Eagles 23, Dolphins 17
Tampa Bay at Jacksonville--This week in Underachievement: Florida, two 4-7 teams will fight for state bragging rights. Will anyone be watching? Jags 24, Bucs 20
Tennessee at Indianapolis--These two are quietly having semi-decent seasons--with Ryan Tannehill and Jacoby Brissett at QB. Colts 29, Titans 23
NY Jets at Cincinnati--This is the definition of a trap game, and the Jets should worry that the Bengals see this as winnable. Okay maybe not. Jets 20, Bengals 10
Washington at Carolina--Lamar Jackson is the MVP. Russell Wilson is close behind, but don't sleep on Christian McCaffrey. I don't play Madden, but do these guys move at different speeds than everyone else? Panthers 34, Skins 17
San Francisco at Baltimore--The Harbaugh brothers meet aga---aahhh. Whoops, sorry. I just had a flashback to Super Bowl 47--Joe Flacco, Colin Kaepernick and a blackout. And also a possible flash forward to this year's Super Bowl. Ravens 31, Niners 24
LA Rams at Arizona--The Rams sure have unraveled fast. Rams 27, Cards 24
LA Chargers at Denver--This feels like a winnable game for both teams. Broncos 23, Chargers 22
Oakland at Kansas City--While the Chiefs do not look like last year's Chiefs they are still in the driver's seat to win the division. Chiefs 31, Raiders 17
New England at Houston--The Patriots are seriously the 8th wonder of the world under Belichick and Brady. Pats 35, Texans 24
Minnesota at Seattle--Once again the Monday night game isn't an awful matchup. Ya hear that, Booger? Seahawks 27, Vikings 24
