Week 12 picks
Last week: 12-2
Season record: 99-63-1
Six more weeks of regular season games. I really wish the season didn't whiz by at breakneck speed, but it always does. And it's definitely great to watch the playoff picture come into focus. So here we go.....
Indianapolis at Houston--Frank Reich has turned out to be a pretty freaking great coach. You just have to wonder what would have happened had Josh McDaniels not screwed the Colts over. Colts 23, Texans 22
Seattle at Philadelphia--This is the kind of game Russell Wilson needs to have a good showing in to bolster his MVP chances. And this is the kind of game the Eagles need to win in order to bolster their playoff chances. Eagles 23, Seahawks 20
Detroit at Washington--I was on the Dwayne Haskins train before the draft for my Giants, but now it's looking like the G-men got the better QB. Skins 19, Lions 17
Oakland at NY Jets--The last two weeks against the Giants and then Skins, Sam Darnold has looked like Aaron Rodgers. I don't think he'll have as much success Sunday but still may get a win. Jets 24, Raiders 20
Carolina at New Orleans--Two teams that got bitch-slapped by Atlanta the past two weeks converge. Saints 27, Panthers 20
Miami at Cleveland--It's too bad that the Browns' big division win last Thursday was marred by Myles Garrett's ugly helmet punch of Mason Rudolph. Browns 20, Dolphins 10
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati--Is this a game the Bengals can finally win? Probably not. Steelers 24, Bengals 16
NY Giants at Chicago--If my Giants wind up with the #1 pick and get Chase Young, I'm okay with the fact that they may have to lose out for that to happen. Bears 31, Giants 16
Denver at Buffalo--Quietly the Bills are having their best season in years. Or maybe not quietly. Bills 17, Broncos 7
Tampa Bay at Atlanta--It would be just my luck since I picked up the Falcons' D that they revert back to sucking again. Falcons 30, Bucs 21
Jacksonville at Tennessee--There are only two games in the late window Sunday, which really sucks if you're a fan of Red Zone. Titans 21, Jags 19
Dallas at New England--This game will separate the men from the boys. Pats 28, Cowboys 17
Green Bay at San Francisco--Is Aaron Rodgers still bitter the Niners took Alex Smith before him in the 2005 draft? Are Niners fans still bitter about it? Niners 27, Packers 26
Baltimore at LA Rams--Can we talk about the stupid pass interference challenge rule? Clearly the league has decided to give fans and teams the middle finger about this issue, and in no way was it more evident than last Sunday in Baltimore. Marlon Humphrey was climbing all over DeAndre Hopkins and did everything but tackle him in the end zone. No PI, so Houston challenged. And the call was upheld. If this happens in the playoffs again, does anyone doubt that they will do the same thing? Ravens 23, Rams 20
