Week 16 picks
Last week: 10-6
Season record: 148-74-2
Washington at Tennessee--Somehow Jay Gruden squeezed a win out of Josh Johnson in Jacksonville, but he won't even squeeze a turd out of this one. Titans 19, Skins 12
Baltimore at LA Chargers--Suddenly this looks like a fantastic match up, especially of defenses. Chargers 17, Ravens 16
Cincinnati at Cleveland--Remember how shocked everyone was that the Browns drafted Baker Mayfield? The Browns have already won six games, which is six times as many as they won in 2016 and 2017 COMBINED. Browns 27, Bengals 17
Tampa Bay at Dallas--Boy, did the Cowboys look awful against Indy last week. They seemed like a lock to win the division after beating Philly for the second time a few weeks ago, and then were shut out by the Colts. This is not an easy job, and I'm sure it's even more nerve wracking for, you know, Vegas types. Cowboys 24, Bucs 13
Minnesota at Detroit--It looks like the Packers will miss the playoffs and the Vikes are in position for the 6-seed. But I have a feeling they throw things into a tizzy when they lose to Detroit on Sunday. Lions 28, Vikings 26
Buffalo at New England--Do I even need to explain this one? Pats 26, Bills 17
Green Bay at NY Jets--This match up reminds me of Brett Favre, and would anyone be surprised if he un-retires to play in this one? Jets 19, Packers 16
Houston at Philadelphia--Nick Fucking Foles. That is all. Eagles 30, Texans 24
Atlanta at Carolina--6-2 to 6-8. I have no idea how the Panthers went from possible division champ to the real possibility of finishing with 8 straight losses. Ouch. Panthers 21, Falcons 17
NY Giants at Indianapolis--The Giants were shut out and embarrassed by the Titans at home. Indy shut out and embarrassed the Cowboys in Indy. So it stands to reason the Colts will shut out and embarrass the Giants, right? Probably not, but.....Colts 24, Giants 10
Jacksonville at Miami--The Jags have really fallen out of the sky. Dolphins 20, Jags 13
LA Rams at Arizona--Oof, this could get ugly. The Rams are reeling and probably pissed off that they are now sitting on the 2 seed. Rams 33, Cards 12
Chicago at San Francisco--I think this Niners team is gonna be a dangerous match up for any team next season. Bears 27, Niners 9
Pittsburgh at New Orleans--How did NBC not flex into this one? Oh goodie, this is probably the Joe Buck game. Saints 40, Steelers 35
Kansas City at Seattle--Maybe Al and Chris and Rodney and Mike and Tony wanted to go Christmas shopping in Seattle. Seahawks 24, Chiefs 23
Denver at Oakland--I think ESPN decided before the season to put this game on Christmas Eve, because no one will be watching it. Raiders 20, Broncos 19
