Week 11 picks

Last week: 9-5
Season record: 99-45-2

I feel like whenever I don't go with my gut, I lose.  Case in point Thursday night.  I picked Aaron Rodgers beating Seattle in Seattle, but all the while feeling this nagging feeling that it was the wrong pick.  And there you go.  So with that, let's see how much we can screw up today......

Dallas at Atlanta--Dallas sucks on the road, the Falcons don't suck as much at home.  Atlanta 27, Dallas 24

Cincinnati at Baltimore--Who knows anymore what the balance of power is in the AFC North.  The Steelers might be the shittiest 6-2-1 team ever.  And then there is this mishmash of mediocrity which even includes the Browns right now.  Ravens 23, Bengals 20

Carolina at Detroit--Is there a prettier spiral thrown in the NFL than Cam Newton's?  He might be the most perennially underrated QB in the league.  Panthers 30, Lions 27

Tennessee at Indianapolis--So the Titans, Texans and Colts have combined for 11 straight wins, and I have no idea how that has happened.  Colts 19, Titans 17

Tampa Bay at NY Giants--Just when things start to look just a bit rosy for the Giants, they usually shit the bed.  And they are 0-4 at home, so let that sink in.  Fitzpatrick is the kind of QB that will give the G-men fitz.  Yeah, I just did that.  Bucs 23, Giants 16

Houston at Washington--I think that six game win streak is about to end.  Skins 24, Texans 23

Pittsburgh at Jacksonville--These two teams met 10 months ago in the divisional round when the two defenses decided not to show up.  I would not expect a repeat of that, but I have a strange feeling the outcome of the game will be the same.  Jags 27, Steelers 26

Oakland at Arizona--No truth to the rumor that Gruden just traded himself to ESPN for the first round pick the Cowboys gave him.  Cards 20, Raiders 10

Denver at LA Chargers--Good god, these late games blow.  Chargers 33, Broncos 20

Philadelphia at New Orleans--I admit I did not see it coming that the Eagles would be this mediocre, nor did I realize the Saints were this terrifying.  Saints 40, Eagles 37

Minnesota at Chicago--NBC is licking its chops over the fact that Chicago has a good team again, and so I full expect that to blow up in Michaels' and Collinsworth's faces.  Vikings 24, Bears 20

Kansas City vs. LA Rams at Mexico City--Not only is it hilarious that ESPN lucked into this matchup, but it's hilarious that said best matchup is being played in a country with tamale vendors.  Rams 45, Chiefs 42
