Week 8 picks
Last week: 8-6
Season record: 75-31-2
So when the hell did it get to be Week 8? We waited like 7 months for kickoff and the season is literally almost half over. Oh well, that's why we have to enjoy it while it lasts. Let's make some picks.....
Philadelphia vs. Jacksonville at London--I think this is the last one in London for the year. I believve there is a Mexico City game and then Roger Goodell plans to next year have a game in Antarctica. Now that's a game I'd watch. Eagles 34, Jags 16
Baltimore at Carolina--Oh wait, I forgot to make a Philly horseshit joke. Ah, I guess I'll let it slide this time. And by slide, I mean slide out of a horse's a---okay, that's enough. Panthers 23, Ravens 20
NY Jets at Chicago--Wow, the Bears were looking like they might have a shot at the division, and then they remembered they were the Bears. Bears 21, Jets 17
Tampa Bay at Cincinnati--I'm way more happy than I should be about the Bengals' 2 game losing streak. Nobody wants to see the Boys of September anywhere near January anymore. Bengals 28, Bucs 21
Seattle at Detroit--I used to wonder what it would be like to live on the west coast and have your team play the early slot on Sunday, which would be a 10am start. Then they started to wise up and make the London games actual afternoon games which means morning football as an appetizer to the rest of the day. And I like it. Lions 30, Seahawks 27
Denver at Kansas City--Pat Fucking Mahomes. Chiefs 38, Broncos 17
.
Washington at NY Giants--The Giants are now selling off their best players for draft picks. They are throwing in the towel, yet still are going to trot you-know-who out there instead of seeing what the other QBs on the team might provide. Unless the idea is to keep losing. Ugg. Redskins 31, Giants 12
Cleveland at Pittsburgh--Why do I get the feeling another tie might be in the offing? Okay maybe not. Steelers 23, Browns 20
Indianapolis at Oakland--OMG two of the three late window games. Starting with this one, after which Chuckie just might retire on the spot and be ready to rejoin the MNF booth the next day. Colts 27, Raiders 20
San Francisco at Arizona--These two teams are 1-6 which just made me realize that the Giants had better keep on losing. At least one of these two will likely get their second win. Niners 24, Cards 16
Green Bay at LA Rams--The Packers have not really addressed their defense in maybe 20 years. And it's gonna make tomorrow look ugly. Rams 41, Packers 35
New Orleans at Minnesota--I've seen that Stefon Diggss miracle TD about a hundred times and I'm sure I will see it another hundred times tomorrow morning alone, but it still gives me goose bumps Vikings 33, Saints 31
New England at Buffalo--Wow, the Bills make the playoffs for the first time in 20 years, and they get a home Monday night game, and it's against a team that is going to make the ESPN suits regret their decision. Pats 37, Bills 10
