Week 6 Thursday Night Football pick
Last week: 12-3
Season record: 52-24-2
So I had another kickass week, but then looked at the week 6 slate and let's just say the games this weekend are going to be really hard to figure. Anyway, let's kick things off with some TNF!
Philadelphia at NY Giants--Ugg. As my buddies from New York would say, "I got AGITA"....the Giants have found new ways to break our hearts. They almost never blow anyone out or get blown out. They often are in every game until the 4th quarter, when something inexplicable happens--horrible penalty (or like last week, phantom penalties!), bad luck, or poor execution. But last week they did manage to lose a game just like they did vs. the Eagles--on a last second 60+ yard field goal. Graham Gano kicked one 63 yards, tying an NFL record for longest game-winning field goal. Last year it was ROOKIE Jake Elliot of the Eagles with a 61-yarder. Seriously, are we really still dealing with karmic retribution for Scott Norwood's wide right in Super Bowl 25? Anyway, I've rambled and there is a game in two hours. Eagles 30, Giants 16
