Week 3 picks: Thursday Night Football

Hey everyone.....there have been some weird results the first two weeks, but now things should come into a bit of a clearer focus. Whether or not that makes picking the games easier, that always remains to be seen.
LA Rams at San Francisco--Boy, what a doozy this is. It's like the NFL picks its worst match up of the week for the Thursday prime-time game. Even the London game on Sunday is more enticing. After demolishing the Colts in Week 1, the Rams came back down to earth and lost to the Redskins. The Niners, meanwhile, have added Mike Shanahan's mini-me as coach and they look, well, improved--which couldn't be hard to do considering how bad the last few seasons have gone. So tonight I think Kyle Shanahan gets his first win as a head coach, in a game that maybe 15 people will watch. Niners 17, Rams 16
