Week 1 picks: Thursday night kickoff

hey everyone!  We have made it through yet another insufferably long NFL off season.  This year I am reviving my picks blog, but since Mikey's Crystal Ball will not let me post anything new, I've started this one.  Yes the name is lame, so I may change it later.  But I did want to get this first pick out there, and will pick the remaining games tomorrow or over the weekend.  So with that, let's do this!

Kansas City at New England--This season there are no Tom Brady suspensions looming for the Patriots, and to be honest, they proved last year that their golden boy and golden head coach can win it all even when said golden boy sits for the first four games.  The Chiefs, still run by a large red walrus, are never an easy out for the Pats or any team.  Andy Reid will have his defense prepared, and his own golden boy, a.k.a. the Great Game Manager Alex Smith, attempting to spoil opening night for Foxboro fans.  But let's face it--does anyone really expect the Chiefs to pull this off?  Patriots 26, Chiefs 20
